Crystal Castles paid tribute to a young fan who passed away from cancer recently, at last night’s gig at London’s Brixton Academy. The stage was decorated with lilies, candles, and pictures of the fan, whose name was Connor Meek.
The band was hoping to meet Connor on several occasions but his illness slowly grew worse. On his birthday, they phoned him and sent him a gift.
CC were scheduled to play an acoustic set in Connor’s room on Nov 25th but Connor passed away 2 days before.
